The IBM RPA Product Team is excited to announce new features and fixes in the 30.0.3 release of IBM RPA
Release Schedule:
IBM RPA 30.0.3 introduces resilient, semantic-driven web automation commands alongside intelligent step recommendations, enabling more reliable bots and faster development with reduced breakages and improved productivity.
The IBM CIO Office has partnered closely with the IBM RPA team as a Client Zero, driving adoption across a broad set of IBM business units. This initiative has delivered significant productivity gains, with organizations achieving capacity savings equivalent to dozens of full-time employees, powered by a large number of IBM RPA bots running in production.
Key Features and improvements made available with IBM RPA 30.0.3New web smart commands with enhanced resiliency
Introduces modernized web automation commands with built-in resiliency powered by semantic page understanding.
Originally introduced in UIAgent and now available in IBM RPA, these modern commands improve the reliability of both attended and unattended bots by minimizing failures caused by minor UI changes or selector issues.
Intelligent automation step recommendations
As users build automation scripts, an intelligent recommendation engine in IBM RPA Studio suggests the next best automation steps, helping accelerate development.
Software Central (SWC) integration for license usage data reporting
This integration enables IBM Robotic Process Automation to report license usage data through IBM Licensing Service (ILS) or IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT), with data forwarded to Software Central (SWC). It provides improved visibility into license usage tracking and reporting.
Windows Server 2025 support
IBM RPA can now be installed on Windows Server 2025. The Advanced Installer has been configured to support the latest Windows Server operating system, enabling users to deploy IBM RPA on the newest Windows Server platform with full compatibility and support.
Additional Quantitative result and Internal improvement
Performance Improvement of the Table Mapper Editor in RPA Studio
Optimized the performance of the Table Mapper Editor in RPA Studio when handling commands with a large number of parameters. This enhancement significantly improves developer productivity by eliminating delays and enabling efficient editing of complex commands.
