Windows OOBE
The Windows Out of Box Experience (OOBE) lets you automatically enroll Windows devices into MaaS360® as soon as a user signs in with Microsoft Entra Active Directory, streamlining setup for desktops, tablets, and phones. By configuring OOBE enrollment in the MaaS360 portal, devices are ready-managed right out of the box with minimal user interaction.

Smart Device Groups vs Device Groups
MaaS360 Device Groups evaluate devices on a 24-hour cycle. To address this, IBM MaaS360 now offers Smart Device Groups, which evaluate devices within minutes. Currently, existing device groups must be recreated as Smart Device Groups. A recent idea has been submitted to add a “Convert to Smart Group” option for existing groups.
