Each month, we take a moment to recognize a GWC leader or member who consistently contributes to the community and makes the GWC a more engaging resource. This month, we're recognizing Jenny Chow, Senior Certified Executive IT Specialist – WebSphere, IBM, and founder of the New York/New Jersey IBM MQ & Integration User Group.

The New York/New Jersey IBM MQ & Integration User Group has scheduled its next meeting for December 3.

Each month, we award our Member of the Month a self-paced course from Global Knowledge. If you know anyone who you think should be recognized for the work they do here on the Global WebSphere Community, drop me a line at kendall.hatch@wispubs.com and let me know.

We recently sat down for an interview with Jenny:

GWC: Tell us about your work with IBM. How long have you been there and what are you currently working on?

Jenny: I am the IBM Executive WebSphere Connectivity & Integration Technical Sales Specialist. I have established NY/NJ MQ User Group since 1997 (18 years ago). Since then, I have maintained & organized the user group with the user group committee team I formed.

GWC: Your next user group seminar is scheduled for December 3. Can you tell me about the event?

Jenny: We invited TxMQ to be our vendor sponsor. It will be held at JPMC in Jersey City, NJ. So far, we have speakers from TxMQ, JPMC customer, Steve Parsons from IBM ISSW, Andrew Schofield from Hursley Lab. We may have either a panel session or another customer speaker. It will be a all day event.
