User, Person, Labor - Quick Guide

I often get asked about the different Maximo records a single person can have or if a user is set up correctly for what they need to do especially when it comes to requesting or performing work. I created this quick visual reference to easily highlight the main differences.

  • User: Login and Security
  • Person: Contact and Shift Information 
  • Labor: Work Assignment and Crafts

This is great, Jess. Simple and clear explanation.

If I had a penny for every time a Maximo user or admin asked me: "Do I need User record, Person record or Labor record?"

I have to use similar visuals to explain and illustrate.
