Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager (GKLM) 5.1 is now available. This release focuses on maintaining support, enabling required transitions, and expanding deployment options.

GKLM 5.1 enables migration from ISKLM on z/OS to GKLM, allowing existing Z customers to move to the current platform without changing their key management approach.

To address the IBM Java 8 sunset, GKLM 5.1 adds support for OpenSDK and OpenJCEPlus with OpenJDK 21. This ensures continued support for cryptographic operations and alignment with current Java runtimes.

The release also adds support for Microsoft Hyper-V, giving customers more flexibility in how and where they deploy GKLM.
