What an incredible chapter for our Advocacy Program Q2 was!
Advocacy isn't about one voice being the loudest - it's about many voices coming together to create meaningful impact. Every blog shared, event attended, story told, connection made, and insight exchanged helps strengthen the IBM Z community and expand what's possible. As we look back on Q2, we're celebrating not only achievements and milestones, but the people behind them. Together, you've demonstrated the power of advocacy in action, turning expertise into influence, and passion into progress.
A Quarter by the Numbers
- In Q2, our Advocates completed over 1000 acts of advocacy. The dedication our Advocates showcase to growing the IBM Z and LinuxONE community each day is truly incredible to witness!
- We welcomed more than 100 new advocates.
- To support this growing community, we continue to publish new Advocacy opportunities each month. This quarter, we created more than 10 new opportunities for our Advocates to take advantage of on their journey to their next Advocacy badge.
- We listened to feedback and introduced clarity and improvements to our Learn More (FAQ) page and are currently working on exciting new features for our Advocacy Hub!
Celebrating Excellence
Recognition is an important part of Advocacy, and Q2 gave us plenty to celebrate. We are currently working on improving our Leaderboard experience for our Advocates, based on the feedback we have received from our incredible community. We appreciate your patience as we introduce new features and enhancements for you, and we will be back with Leaderboard winner recognition very soon!

Advocacy benefits everyone. By sharing knowledge, experiences, and ideas, Advocates help strengthen the IBM Z community, inspire others, and drive innovation.
For Advocates, it's also an opportunity to grow - building professional networks, increasing visibility, developing leadership skills, and establishing themselves as trusted voices in their field.
