The first quarter of the year has been an exciting and energizing chapter for our Advocacy Program!
Since the launch of our new Advocacy Hub in November 2025, we have seen what is possible when passionate voices come together around IBM Z and LinuxONE. Q1 did not just bring numbers. It brought momentum, creativity, and a stronger sense of community.
A Quarter by the Numbers
- In Q1, our Advocates over 700 acts of advocacy. Each act represents time, expertise, and commitment to advancing IBM Z and LinuxONE. From sharing content and insights to participating in events and conversations, these actions directly contribute to expanding awareness and strengthening the ecosystem.
- We welcomed more than 400 advocates. This level of growth shows that interest in IBM Z and LinuxONE extends beyond awareness, with individuals actively engaging, learning, and sharing their experiences with others.
- To support this growing community, we continue to publish new Advocacy opportunities each month.
- We also introduced improvements to the Advocacy experience with platform improvements - from a personalized Leaderboard experience, a new and improved Learn More (FAQ) page, based on user feedback, providing more clarity than ever on our processes and the Advocacy Program overall, to a brand-new Advocacy Guidebook section, which included short video demos of key features on the platform.
Celebrating Excellence
Recognition is an important part of advocacy, and Q1 gave us plenty to celebrate. Our Q1 Leaderboard winner is Imran Jalil, who achieved an outstanding total of 2165 points! This result reflects consistency, dedication, and a deep commitment to driving awareness and engagement. Congratulations on setting such a strong example for the entire community!
