I am pleased to share a recent technote that was created to assist OMEGAMON users to move a HUB TEMS on Distributed platforms to a z/OS based HUB TEMS.
There are multiple reasons for wanting to move the HUB TEMS to z/OS, like to utilise the new IBM Z OMEGAMON Data Requester plugin within Grafana, or to enable SAF Multi-Factor Authentication to login in to the TEP UI. Both items require the HUB TEMS to be running on z/OS.
This comprehensive document was created to bring all the necessary steps onto a single page so that clients can move the TEMS without requiring IBM support.
