We’ve just released a new demo use case showing how IBM Process Mining and IBM Business Automation Manager Open Editions (BAMOE) work together to monitor, analyze, and improve the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using a data‑driven, end‑to‑end approach.
This demo illustrates how organizations can move faster from process insight to execution, closing the gap between discovery and automation.
✨ What’s New
In this demo, IBM Process Mining applies object‑centric process mining to the SDLC, connecting features, work items, and activities into a single end‑to‑end process view. This approach reveals how the SDLC actually runs across systems and teams, uncovering dependencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
From the discovered process, a BPMN model is exported directly from IBM Process Mining and used as a workflow skeleton in IBM BAMOE, accelerating workflow design and implementation. The demo also shows how BPMN tasks can be enriched and transformed into BAMOE AI Agent Tasks.
📈 Why It Matters
Understanding the SDLC is only the first step, real value comes from acting on insights. By combining process mining and workflow automation, teams can move from analysis to execution faster, design workflows grounded in real data, and support continuous, measurable improvement at scale. This integration enables more informed decisions, faster delivery, and more resilient development processes.
