Just deploying network orchestration and introducing virtual and container based network functions will not automatically deliver the agility and promised reduction of operational expenses (OpEx) you have heard about. Deployment of the right tools enables the transformation to software based networking but the magic is in the adoption of software inspired processes that help you to increase agility, reduce OpEx, and puts you on a journey to zero touch operations management. IBM believes in the value of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices aligned with automated DevOps solution management to deliver results.
