Hmm...I'm little confused with this 'login failed for besadmin' entry in tema log file.
If you are not able to connect to the ILMT after changing some password it means that you've changed the database user password.
Personally I highly doubt that your database user name is besadmin.
Most probably 'besadmin' account is your BigFix Administration user account not used for Database access or ILMT login at all.
Pls. paste the first line from tema log file which contains '[tema]:.[ERROR]' entry.
Something like [ERROR] Cannot connect to the database....
Also content of database.yml file would help us out to find out something more...

I'm not sure which ILMT version you got but starting from 9.2.30 there is a dedicated script for changing database User/Password: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/license-metric-tool?topic=database-changing-connection-parameters
That script will take care of of all those securityutility and aes encryption things...

We have changed the service account password, ILMT and Bigfix console in our environment. After changing Besadmin and ILMTUser passwod in database, we have updated the same in server.xml and database.yml file after converting the password in aes format via securityutility. After restarting the ILMT service, NOw we are not able to connect to the ILMT URL. After checking temalog, it says login failed for besadmin. What should we do?
