IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT)

Hi All,

I am using ILMT v9.2.31 in Linux server (Azure cloud box). here we are managing 400 nodes using Ansible Automation method,

When we generate the report in ILMT console for a server than below "Component name" and "Product name" is showing different value.

I have done some research about this behaviour and this is because the disconnected scanner has it's own signature and it is always bundled to ILMT (as there's no other relation for it). This has been already resolved within the latest disconnected scanner package - 9.2.32.0.

Thanks for your updates and we are using Disconnected scanner version 9.2.31 now. Which mean it is a bug from ILMT disconnected scanners right?

The only way to upgrade the disconnected scanner to 9.2.32 to resolve it right?

You're correct. The issue should be resolved by upgrading the disconnected scanner and running a new set of scans.

Hi Andrei,

We have upgraded the ILMT v9.2.32 and scanner version too. But still, we are seeing different property value "product name" and "component name" in Inventory results.

Do we have any other reason to get the correct result?
