    Good morning
    I wish you my best wishes for this new year 2024 which is beginning.
    We noticed that the Bigfix agent modified the HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ProxyServer registry key on a number of servers in our fleet. Indeed when we stop the BES customer service and we modify the proxy value this is taken into account. But if we restart the agent it overwrites the proxy value automatically.
    Is it possible to stop proxy override from the Bigfix agent?
    FYI, the agent is in version 9.5.20.34

    Hello Cyrille,
    I'd guess that this registry key modification is done by some custom fixlet/action that changes the proxy settings on the user's computers.
    Bigfix Agent log (C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\BES Client\__BESData\__Global\Logs\xxx.log) would be the place to start with.
    Please check which actions becomes Relevant upon agent restart....
     
    At last, please verify if this proxy issue is not some kind of aftermath of your previous thread:

    Thanks for your feedback.
    Having no connection to the servers causing problems, I launched action 110 and action 157 last night (with a detail level of 1000) to retrieve the agents' log from the Bigfix server. verbose version. I'm currently analyzing it, I'll get back to you if I find anything.
