Hi everyone,I am trying to automate some repetetive tasks in my browser and I came across Playwirght automation - I am trying to understand the more superior way to automate as I am not familiar with either and want to learn the best one from the get go! Would love learn about what the possibilities are and what would work better?

    Hi Billy,

You are not comparing apples and apples here. Playwright is a testing automation tool where RPA is an automation tool.

RPA can definitely do testing automation. However, you will need to build yourself libraries of bot function to structure and store tests and tests results.

A platform tool like RPA is good when you need to build innovation. Playwright is more a niche automation solution for specialized needs. If the specialized tool can address your needs, you are good to go. If you need to personalize and customize the specialized tool, you are better using a platform tool such as IBM RPA.

    Hope this help!

    Alex
