Rule Artifacts content does not use locale by which designer is started

For a rule project developed with vocabulary in English

    • have created a dutch (model_nl.voc) vocabulary file
    • restarted eclipse with dutch locale eclipse.exe -nl nl_NL
    • existing action rule and decision table locale is still in en_US though system provided labeling for indication with-in artifacts or artifact names under menu providing option to create had changed
    • for any newly created action rule locale is nl_NL

Why is that rule designer not able to load existing rules in designer locale when changed?

is this a limitation or am I missing any process steps and is it possible to load rule content with vocabulary for the locale?

It would be great help if someone could guide me or help with the process.

    Thank you...

    Hello Avinash,

That is the expected behavior. Wher you create a rule or DT in Rule Designer, that rule or DT will be natively in the current locale, the one whith which you have launched Rule Designer with option -nl. It will be stored in your eclipse workspace in that language. All verbalizations you are creating will also correspond to that current Rule Designer locale. Now, if you launch a rule that was created with another locale, it will show in its locale. Rule Designer does not perform any translation on the fly, unlike Decision Center.

    Thanks,
