Did anyone installed CP4Automation on premises?

Although it is supposed to run on private cloud, installation documentation is not clear.

Do we need a private cloud infrastructure like Openstack or Cloudstack?

Can it simply be installed in a locally installed Kubernetes cluster?

    Is OpenShift a mandatory requirement?

    Hello Christos,

You can deploy CP4Automation on any CNCF certified Kubernetes cluster (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYHZ8_20.0.x/com.ibm.dba.install/topics/con_installing.html)
OpenShift is the preferred one but it is not mandatory nor the only one.

    Hi,
as I understand from the following technote, from the next CP4A version release, OpenShift is mandatory and CNCF Kubernetes is not fully supported if you are willing to use CP4A at the full scope, or do I miss something?

    Hi Tomas,
You'r right, as stated in the technote, starting from the next release, not all components of CP4Auto are supported on CNCF K8s.
