    We have a custom application which imports documents into a FileNet Object Store and populates properties using a properly filled XML file.

    We have a problem with the date-time properties.

    Content Engine assumes that time is UTC (which is not, I am in UTC+3) so inserts the date as is.

    After that when displaying the date in ACCE or Navigator adds +3 hours, which my timezone offset.

    Is there a date-time format that can force CE to convert the value in the XML file into UTC, according to my timezone?

    It is not possible to subtract the 3 hours before creating the properties XML file.

    ======== EDIT =======

    I tried several time formats using W3C formats for time offset like +hh:mm, -hh:mm but no success.

    We had to modify import utility to convert date to UTC format before assigning date value to document property.

    This resolved the problem

    Yes, that's the correct approach.
