    Hello everyone,

We're trying to create a storage area on our local drive from ACCE, but an error occurs every time we go through the wizard stating that the directory was not found. Could you elaborate on the problem, and have you encountered the same error before? We gave security access to the folder and read/write privileges so that the system can manipulate it, but still no positive results. It seems like the Content Engine is not able to read from the local drive. Thank you!

I assume you want to create a file system storage area. The directory must be read/writeable for the WAS user that the CPE runs on. Is that the case?

    Hi Stefan,

when posting a question, do not assume that we all know your environment and see what you see.

Give us some info on your operating system, application server, CPE version etc.

Also explain what "local drive" means. Is this a drive on your CPE server?

    Hello everyone,

Case closed as we managed to find what the issue was. Yes, we wanted to create a file storage area inside the object store. The directory was read/writeable, but wasn't shared to the SYSTEM. That apparently fixed the issue and let us create the storage area. We use Windows Server edition 2019. I can't give you much information about our environment as I'm still in the process of understanding the whole structure and core capabilities of this product. Nevertheless, thank you for your cooperation!
