    IBM DBA for Multicloud has multiple capabilities.  They are all listed in the new Knowledge Center

    This shows its the Filenet Content manager software running in a container on Kubernetes.

    The following documentation shows that all the normal components are being run, and there is a new one called Interoperability Service

    • Content Platform Engine (required for an IBM FileNet® Content Manager deployment
    • Content Navigator
    • Content Search Services
    • Content Management Interoperability Service

    Hi Ravi,

    The answer depends on what you mean by a custom application. For example, if you are talking about a custom plugin for Navigator than it is just a matter of deploying the plugin to PVC for the plugin volume (see KC link below). Now if you are talking about a pure custom Java application that uses the CPE JAVA API than it is recommended that it is deployed outside of the FileNet containers. This is also true for on-prem with a traditional application server. These custom applications would run its own JVM and not within the same JVM as say CPE.
