Hello,
We have 5.2.1.7 on Oracle in prod which is up and running. Recently there was a mistake from one of the resource that, they ran the same fix pack installation on prod server.

1. During installation where it asks for COM Comparability layer and Configuration URL, lower environment server name was entered and installation got completed without any errors.

2. Post installation, we have not re-deployed CPE.

What are the consequences of this?
1. If we reboot/bounce the servers (windows), will it cause an issue?

2. Are there any measures that we need to take care?

Hi are you saying you installed the same fixpack twice?
Which specific Fixpack is it?

If you did, and you entered the same values and received no errors you should be okay.

You may want to check to see if their was an installation log created for this fixpack to make sure there are no errors in that log.

There's no harm in running the installer again with the correct values, if the only thing that was done was rerunning an installer that had already been run once before.

There is an IFIX 7 available for the 5.2.1 FP 7 Release.
