    Hello Asif,
the article you linked in the message is just a tutorial explaining a sample configuration that uses FileNet role-based access.
For more detailed information you can take a look to the FileNet Content Manager documentation Below some pages to begin.
    Understanding role-based access: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/filenet-p8-platform/5.5.x?topic=authorization-understanding-role-based-access
    Configure role-based access: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/filenet-p8-platform/5.5.x?topic=how-configure-role-based-access

    Hope it helps,
    Massimiliano

    Hi Asif
I've had the same journey - it has been a case of using trial and error to understand how exactly the roles work through the content navigator views as well as acce. This example needs to give some rationale for choosing such high level classes in building the role definitions; the advice I received was to put the roles on classes below Document and below Folder in the class structure..

I'd like to see how documents can be filed with basic access for an organisational unit and also shared with other org units by an appropriate user adding a role to the folder or document, perhaps for a period of time, which may be  a use cases for using the dynamic roles - something else that needs a recipe.

What scenario would you like to see put into a recipe?
