I have been trying to get the Case Manager EDS Plugin set Task properties. I have only been able to set Case level properties. The ICN EDS plugin works fine with individual non-case manager workflows. I haven't tested against a collection. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Case Manager Activities/Tasks. When I check the debug logs, I do not see any Task properties, only Case properties in the client-context.
Question: Is it possible to use the Case Manager or ICN EDS plugin to set Case Activity/Task properties? If so, can someone please give or point me an example?
David, This one probably should be sent to the Product team as an enhancement/defect. I worked with support and they could not figure it out. Fortunately one of our customers went round an round with support previously and they came to the conclusion that although the EDS documentation specifies it works with workflows, it does not work with Case Activities/Workflows. It will work with Case level properties, document properties, and workflows outside of a case solution.
An enhancement/defect should be opened to get it working with Case Activities. What should have been a hour to two in development took about a week as we had to build all the EDS functionality in Script Adapters and a Plugin.
