Could you please suggest me the best path/cookbooks to get for achiving a full knowledge of Business Automation(specifically on BAW) , I'd really appreciated it.

This is a complex product suite and there are many aspects and skills. What do you think will be your specialization? Modelling processes and cases; developing human services and user interfaces; document management; working with messaging, integrations and APIs? Even after ten years with IBM BPM, I don't master the full suite, especially as it keep evolving.

I think the official documentation (former knowledge center) is quite good at introducing the concepts and patterns, as well as supporting "Hello world!" explorations. If you want in-depth knowledge and guidelines there are also numerous IBM redbooks for business process management (BPM) and case management. For modelling I suggest the Method & Style books by Bruce Silver.

What is your focus...Application development OR architecture design?

IBM RedBooks website is a good place to start. Don't worry if they are a little old. Many concepts still hold true:

When I started BPM 6 years ago, I learned quite a lot with the "hiring tutorial". It does not look like it has been maintain unfortunately so some feature names / screen-captures are not correct but as said above the concepts stay the same

This is an online version maintained up to 2016. They also talk about other technologies such as RPA.
