Every month, the Public Sector User Group hosts an “Ask Me Anything” type session and invites anyone from any industry to attend to look at technical aspects of design and deployment of Business Automation software, including architecture, Best Practices, and strategies for Integration and moving to the Cloud.
On Thursday, October 13, attendees were treated to a session with Lauren Mayes, long time FileNet Development Executive and the current Program Director for IBM Content Services. Lauren began with a few charts to describe the new offering, to be released later in the month, and then we opened the “lines” and the questions came flooding in. Lauren eagerly took them all on, and by the end, we had a much better understanding of what’s in the early release and what’s still to come.
Now that we know what it is and what’s included in “the box,” we’ll devote the next episode of “The Practitioners” (on Thursday, November 10 at 12 noon ET) to the practical aspects of actually engaging it: what is the pricing model, what are the tiers available and other considerations.
