George Warner ran the Content and Process practices for New York State for more than two decades. He often appeared in IBM Content and Automation live events, advocating for a strategic approach to the design and deployment of new applications. Attendees raved about his methods for determining the cost of paper processes to build a business case before investing in Automation. So, you can imagine that I am more than excited to see how he will react to IBM’s recently announced acquisition of myInvenio, the Process Mining tool.
Automation Reaction is a new web series, where an IBM subject matter expert presents a new Automation capability and a Client Practitioner reacts to it in real time and discusses how it might be deployed. Then we open it up the audience for your reaction.
I hope you’ll join us live at 11 AM ET on Wednesday, May 26 for a real conversation about how to apply Automation strategically to benefit the business. Register here: https://ibm.biz/BdfyNy
We’ll begin with a look at IBM’s new Process Mining Tool. Paul Pacholski, a member of the IBM Automation SWAT team, will demonstrate how Process Mining uses data from an organization’s current processes to map a process from start to finish, revealing bottlenecks and areas where rework and delays are slowing down the process. The solution also enables the organization to create a “digital twin” of the process and then run simulations with estimated cost savings if certain processes are automated. It’s a must-have for organizations that want to take a measurable, strategic approach to Automation.
And then we’ll turn to George. I invited George, because he has a reputation for saying exactly what he thinks. You can bet that I look forward to hearing what he thinks about this new capability for the IBM Cloud Paks. It will be a fascinating 45 minutes.
