    Hi All,

    I'd like to know if anyone is having issues with Maximo Mobile transactions not syncing with Maximo. Many users complain that transactions get stuck in Mobile and Maximo is not updated.

    We saw a case yesterday where the user went offline, and even with a good connection, it didn't go online. After closing the app and reopening, it was online again, but a few transactions failed with no apparent error message. Maximo was partially updated, and the user lost the other transactions because they couldn't be reprocessed.

    In this case, it was Inspection transactions, but we've also seen similar issues with work order transactions.

    Hello!

    Is VPN really connected? I don't know how it is configured, how You are connecting to VPN,, but in our case, there is also [VPN]  icon in upper part of screen  shown when we have connection. Sometimes mobile is not triggering that VPN connection (there is specific VPN connections, where is set, whit which application to use VPN)

    Maybe it is connected to this known issue https://www.ibm.com/mysupport/s/defect/aCI3p000000D0PlGAK/dt233440?language=en_US , maybe it evolved somehow :)

    In this case, there is no VPN connection, I think it's more of a generic app message.

    Yes, the defect you listed seems to be related to our problem. Have you faced a similar problem?

    Yes, we faced exact issue, that in some poor signal zone (inside some substation basement or substation covered with metal sheets) transactions hang, they are not even pending, there is no button to resync. Yes, we see that there are something unsinced. Then we rest app, to clear those transactions, and enter that info (fill inspection form) from scratch.

    We had this exact same issue until we moved to 8.11 IFIX 06.

    After researching countless hours we are without luck with one of our clients Mobile EAM issue. Technician app role cannot sync WO created/update data back to Maximo.
     
    They have 7613, Transportation and Installed Mobile EAM 8.11 and it worked with no issues in pilot program. 
    We installed Ifix 009 for mobile to get latest code and that broke something, and to fix that we had to install another ifix for 7613.
     
    Now we can only sync WO's created in Maximo to Mobile EAM 8.11(Technician), and not other way. The messages says 'transactions pending'.
    - The user with Technician Role Based app can creat WO's through Desktop Technician App.
    But the SR Roles Based App is assigned to another group and no syncing issues between mobile or maximo.
     
    Then as per IBM we installed latest 7613 ifix and TR ifix and no luck.
     
    Has anyone run into this scituation of Technician Mobile cannot sync back to Maximo where as SR Mobile can with 2 different user.
    If we add Technician to SR roles, then both both gets stuck and we see 'transactions pending' message.
