    Hi,

Does anyone have a clue on the expected release date for MAM fp7.6.1.3?
The current version is almost two years old...!

    Thanks in advanced

I believe all we're saying publicly is Q3 of 2022. There's some additional work we want to get complete before we release it.

Some of the things have been announced such as we're bringing the new Asset Rollup process that exists in Manage in MAS today to 7.6.1.3, BIRT 4.8, new OS/middleware support, some new automation script functionality, etc. The wait isn't ideal, but it will be a good one to get deployed.

    Hi Steve,

    Can we go from 7.6.1.1 to directly 7.6.1.3 by-passing 7.6.1.2 ?
    Do you recommend that ?

    Regards,
    Venkat

Yes fix packs (the last digit in the number) are cumulative and we support going from one fix pack to another even if there were additional versions in-between. I wouldn't be concerned about doing it but I won't say I recommend it since I haven't done it myself.

It is expected to be ready for release in mid-2022. In addition to new features, the Feature Pack will update the Logging code to use the most recent version of log4j v2.

First question - does everything appear correctly in the system info dialog?  Second - Did anyone create a Salesforce Case for the version.bat issue?

    Hi All,

I've got the error and reported as Case TS010468497.

The issue for me is that I see in the detailed log, this:
Type: field For object: IOTFDEVICEMAPPING,FEEDMAPPINGPROP Product class : psdi.mbo.MboValueAdapter Extend from: null

Somehow the Extend from is not picking up the superclass from the /opt/IBM/SMP/maximo/tools/maximo/en/script/classnames.dat file, or os it seems.

What appears to be happening (for me) is that IBM is moving the class file to a new directory.

IBM Support has been able to replicate, not so IBM Development.

I am running Maximo Asset Management with Maximo for Transportation, Maximo Anywhere, and Maximo Linear.

Please raise a case, so the true impact of this can be appreciated by IBM

    Hi Craig et al,

Thank you for the info, there has been an active discussion on this, including an email in my inbox this morning.  But, this seems to be different then the version.bat problem.  In any case, we are working on a tech note.  I don't have the details except that it is ok to null out the classname for this attribute.  As you said, L2 recently replicated but dev has not, so there must be a specific scenario that causes this situation.

Hi everybody!, The version.bat error its produced also with Oracle 19c. I don't know if thus error is independent on database configuration.

    Thanks and Regards
