Raphael Weiner is VP of Product at Instana, where he and the team are focused on delivering better outcomes for APM/Observality users and buyers through automation, ease of use, and bringing teams together. He has spent the last decade building across both B2B and B2C products, and believes the future of enterprise software is user-centric. Raphael lives in Berlin and holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University.
Mike Mallo is the IBM Hybrid Cloud technical offering manager for Instana. Mike joined IBM through the Tivoli acquisition over 25 years ago and has always had a passion for enterprise systems management. Recently, he has worked to broaden the observability space within IBM by creating partnerships with Humio, Sysdig, and Turbonomic and a key driver in the Instana acquisition. Prior to that, he has held offering management and development leadership roles creating new capabilities for IBM's clients in a number of products. Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University and an MBA from Concordia University Texas.
