    Hi Team,

    I am working on a project and would seek guidance on the below question.

    Can Turbonomic be used for its capabilities for Azure VMware Service (AVS), which is a managed VMware environment on Azure?

    Sandeep,

    There is a section in the Turbo manual that mentions VMC (the AWS offering for VMware) and it also mentions AVS amongst others. These services are not explicitly tested by Turbo QA but are expected to behave as any other VMware integration, as vCenter is the integration point and is provided on all of these services. There are a few special situations as per the docs but the core functionality of Turbo should work as expected.

    We are actually using Turbonomic to monitor a smal AVS infrastructure. There no major differnces from any other Vmware infrastructure cloud or on premise.

    Francesco, That's great, thanks for confirming that. Just a quick couple of questions. Were you managing AVS from an on-prem installation of Turbo or from the SaaS service (either directly or via the Turbo Secure Connect capability)?

    Also, did you use web client URL and local vCenter account as the credentials for the Turbo target?

    Dear, Sandeep we are currently using Turbonomic to monitor a small environment on AVS, there are no major differences compared to other Vmware infrastructure on Cloud or premise.
