    Hi!

    trying to figure out how notifications can be raised from Turbonomic.   There is a Email Settings- page for inserting SMTP server address.  What happens when that is configured?   Will there be visible some options to send mails when configuring policies?  Documentation does not really say to what the mail can be used for https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/tarm/8.11.0?topic=tasks-email-settings

    Jan,

    Apologies for the confusion but I think this was one of the capabilities that wasn't ported across when Turbo was re-factored into a micro service based K8s app. I don't think this area of the GUI does anything now and should probably be removed. We have seen a move away from email as the primary method for outbound notifications towards Webhooks and those capabilities are in the product now and work nicely with receivers like Slack, MS Teams or anything with a webhook receiver. Right now, these webhooks are configured and managed through the API but we have a GUI for this in early access now and will be released soon (it makes it a lot easier to use).
