We're thrilled to announce the latest update to Cloud Pak for AIOps, v4.7. This release brings several exciting enhancements designed to help you simplify your operations and gain deeper insights into your IT infrastructure and incidents. Over the course of the last year we have been focused on deepening our flexibility and usability to ensure that operations teams can take full advantage of Cloud Pak for AIOps and with this release many of those features are released in full GA.

Linux-based Deployment for Production Environments

With this update, we've introduced support for Linux-based production environments. This includes backups, restores, cluster restarts, uninstalls, and upgrades to future versions. While we have supported Openshift Container Platform since the inception of Cloud Pak for AIOps we wanted to ensure that those who do not choose containerized architecture are also able to use Cloud Pak for AIOps. Now, with the production version of the Linux Deployment customers can run Cloud Pak through more traditional infrastructure.

Incident Management UI Update

Our updated incident management interface offers a streamlined view of incidents, making it easier to identify probable cause, view similar tickets, and access automated remediations. We’ve move from a three column view two columns providing more real estate to dive deep into the underlying probable cause, triage the incident, and then take action.

Cognos Dashboarding

Now, you can easily integrate Cognos with your existing AIOps environment and create customized dashboards. These dashboards can display essential AIOps metrics and visualizations, providing valuable insights into your alerts, incidents, and system performance. We’ve included a new Incident list widget and Button widget that can be used in your custom dashboards, as well as example dashboards to help you learn about the capabilities of the available widgets. This feature is in tech preview now, so you can begin using it today to see how it can bolster your organizations operations.

Topology Rationalization

With this update we've introduced advanced sorting and filtering capabilities for tabular topology views. This means you can quickly locate and focus on specific components within your IT infrastructure, making it easier than ever to manage complex environments.
